The shell that houses the restaurant- Karaiskaki Stadium, which is built over the water, was a benchmark in the design proposal.
The wave of the sea that existed in place is introduced in the design of the space in the form of an optically moving roof element. This element, which is the result of parametric design, dominates the environment and gives identity to the restaurant.
A former 4-plex later combined into a duplex, the project consisted in transforming this 1900’s property into a contemporary single-family home, with a small addition in the back. The existing two-storey building was half abandoned and in need of major renovations. After completely gutting the interior space, the structure was modified to remove all interior walls as well as the back wall.

The hotel at Brattøra redefines the classical atrium hotel typology to a new and strong identity. The rooms are arranged/organized in four highly rational structures all oriented towards the perfect view. The rotation transforms the atrium from an enclosed central space to a 3-dimensional star shaped lobby space.
This boutique hotel quietly dwells in a local neighbourhood that enjoys moderate distance yet convenience to the bustling CBD while offering an authentic Hong Kong experience with local eateries, market, old buildings, temples and scenery of the Hong Kong Island along the tramways. The hotel is intended to be a getaway from the hustles of the surrounding and the chaos of life. It is a world of tranquillity upon the travellers' arrival and entry into the space.
